Just be sure to use Grade 8 or higher hardware and watch out for the gas tank when drilling. I needed a 1/2 inch bit.

    YJ Rear Tow Point?

Yep, I followed Bounty's lead and mounted to my frame rail. Though I mounted mine a little more parallel with the ground. I also placed one on each side so theoretically you could loop over both sides and achieve the "center" pull. IMO there is no real good tow point on the rear of a YJ.

    Rough Country, good or Bad?

I also installed the 3" RC lift on my 95 YJ back in October. I have no complaints. Dont let the price fool you. I feel its a good quality kit. Though if I knew about the Hell Creek with the warranty I probaly would have gone that way. Good luck on your decision. I think no matter what you decide...

Its actually the same 2 1/2 inch muffler clamp that I used for the top. Just needed a strip of metal to hold it on since it only goes through the lift with one end. See the pics - I used the brake line relocation bracket. any 2 1/2 inch ubolt will work just make sure its long enough. hope...

    Tales from the boneyard

Good job on the cheap fix, Gotta say 88 was a good year for Dodge, I bought an 88 Dodge colt 3 years old in 91 (just finished High School) with 28k for 3100.00 - what a deal! got 2500 for my d50 pickup that was totalled so it cost 600.00 - all I ever did was change the alternator once, maybe 3...

Taurus Electric Fan - New Alternator?

I found an electric fan from a 93 Taurus with the 3.8. Ive got a write up on it and it states the fan draws nearly 100 amps on startup settling to 33 with constant draw. Will I need a higher amperage alternator or will the stock one be sufficient...at least for now? by the way the link to...

did anyone see the jeep the made on the show TRUCKS

I thought it was hilarious when they went "off road" at the end and went through the big mud hole and just soaked the kid and his nice rig. You know he was hating that. They didnt regear it, he talked about it but didnt do it.
