Make sure the master cylinder top is sealed good. This is a closed system so any air leak any where will cause this.

I have installed the flexalite electric cooling fan in my 95 YJ. In doing so the factory shroud was removed, the engine splash shield was attached to this. Once removed there is no good place to reattach it to. Currently I have it zip tied to the front trac bar. Do I need this shield? Seems...

Arent you supposed to use that special gear addtive if you have limited slip in the diff? In case you didnt, you may want to make sure before you drive too much.

I talked to Aussie Locker about the D30 locker yesterday and they were getting a shipment in next week, though only 5 were not allocated to someone else already. They are running around $230 right now.

Bounty, Would I be able to remove the spider gears myself, prep them and just have someone fill them in and reinstall myself? Or would I need to have someone setup the gears afterwards? Im not well versed on diffs , does anyone have a picture of their spiders filled in?

I am looking into having my front D30 welded (lincoln locker). Does anyone know of any links that detail this procedure? Also, what kinds of places will do this and what can I expect to pay? Seems like there might be some liability issues with the shop. Thanks in advance.

I had to get the rear leaf springs (frame mounted) bolts. The stock ones did not fit into the bushings supplied. This was using the rough county springs and bushings, the Hell Creek may be correct. I replaced all 8 with grade 8 anyways. Thats one bolt you dont want to break. Also dont bother...

Well, got her done and all looks good. Took a bit longer than I expected but it works great. So the only time I engag the front axle is when I am in 4WD - then I would disengage around tight turns etc. What happens if I engage the frt axle in 2WD? anything? I guess not, not with the xfer case...
