My 2012 jetta has that but it won't roll back on a hill at all untill I tap the gas at first I hated it but when I let other people drive my car that are new at it (my little brother) I don't have to worry about them freaking out on a hill and hitting someone else. It does take a little getting...

I'm not sure which one that is but I know I use a Garmin when I go on mountain bike rides and map out my ride that way, I don't see why it wouldn't work for off road in a jeep
