if you want your tires to look tough, then get some BF Goodrich Mud Terrains, but i do lots of offroading( sand,mud, hills) andi just have some average all terrain tires... you would be surprised whata jeep can do... whatver you do though, make sure do get tires that have a hard rubber compound...

I have a 95 Cherokee Sport w/ 4wd- it has the T-case u are looking for. you can buy the 2 door model- i wanted to, but having 4 doors is prolly the best thing since sliced bread. without it, id have to pull the seat to get back there and all that shit... seriously unless you want an offroad...

hey i have no problem going 90 in my 95 Xj (6 cyli, HO, stock tires) but im getting K& N filter, and cutting some airtube restrictors out soo il lbe going fast now... by the way.. jeeps can beat ricers off the start if they don't have huge ass tires and stock gears

im in the same boat as you... im 17 years old and thus cannot afford to mofiy my jeep much and if i mess it up im pretty much screwed so i stick to mild trails... its still a whole lot of fun, i get to swing out my back end if im going fast, kick up lots of dust, and get that vertical feeling...

you are supposed to go less than 5 miles per hour to shift. also make sur your gearshift is in neutral then put ur t-case shifter in 4w high, and put ur gearshift in drive

mud terrain/claw terrains aren't great for snow surprisingly enough i don't live in a snowy climate but ask some of the guys on this board who live in the snow and hey will tell you the exact tires to get also if u get 29 in tires u will have little room for travel because your wheel wells will...

the XJ is way smaller- sorry grae wolf... the ird is quite a bit bumpy but i like it.. it handles like a real truck... its not uncomfortable or anything.. XJ's are good fix it yourself vehicles... u can put in almost all you mods in without even being a highly skilled mechanic as far as...
