ok so the machinist i was usin is a moron... firt thing that should have tipped me off was his lack of understanding the measurements... he tells me the engine needs bored...ok...no big deal...it happens... but unless i'm stupid shouldn;t he be able to tell what size pistons a he will need...

maybe they sent the wrong header by mistake?

honestly i'm not sure if they come that small...they come small enoguh to do 10/28 screws...but it;s not usually really deep...

RE: vinal top cleaners if you have access to air tools...get a 90 degree grinder and a small rotary file...a round one would be greeat...use the rotary file to file out the tap...depending on how deep the tap is... we always break these things at work...along with screwdriver apex bits and...

RE: ford in a cj? a crossmember for an 87 yj... somewhere close to dayton ohio would be great... it seems mine is rusted out where the transmission mounts and has been welded once already...
