i was fiddling with this piece of what looked like pipe yesterday lookin to find where it went...i could not... so i dismissed it thinkin eventually when i started getting low on parts...and places to put them...i would eventually find where it went... well...today i did...it is the oil filter...

I shimmie anyone got a pic of where the coolant hoses go for the manifold...i forgot to mark them...silly me... :oops: :oops:

no it's not a factory cam...but other than that...it is mostly stock... the push rods i had were in bad shape anyhow so i might aswell get the correct length...and it will be a learning experience for the engine i'm doin for my car...which is excessively modified...

when i measured my pushrod length...i put the checkers in the lifters and left tem collapsed...not all the way but enought to torques down my rockers...at BDC...then i ran them up to where they barely ouched the arm and took out all the clearance... ran it through and watched the sweep across...

i had that happen...a few times... once it was a 67 mustang...me and a pal was pullin it home from his cousins house who did some body work for me...turns out he removed the two rear wheels and didn say anything to me...and ddn't tighten them...about 5 miles later...both rear wheels passed me...
