A/C - Overheating woes... i have a hard top now and would like a soft top for wummer...i don;t really like the half steel doors but i do have frames off a 79 cj7...would they fit on an 87 yj and with a replacement top? i;d go throw them on real quick but they are in my dads garage some 800...

i don;t have a big floor jack..i can;t find any in the silly town... i got it in...honetly i don;t knwo why i didn;t think of it before...ususally if there are two people i just leave the transfercase on...i seperated them after getting frustrated...which is somethin i had never done...and it...

thanks man...i'll try that...and see if i an;t get the push thingy back in it;s right spot...gettin tired of spendin 25 bucks on doorhandles...

that's a novel idea gadget...i may do taht...just because it sounds cool....

RE: Elliptical suspensions i don;t have access to a taansmission jack...i thoguht of it...i don;t own a chainfall but that;s a great idea...i had not thoguht of it...will keep that one in mind...i don;t like that adapter idea either...but then again...look what i'm doing...i should not have to...

from helpin you to install your transmission cause you;re a weak little guy...you gotta think of somethin... it hasn;t worked just yet...it seems the straps i have holding it on keep getting caught on the body...i may need to adjust a bit...and the hoist keeps catchin the dashpad... anyone...

when i got my jeep...the passenger door handle was broken...i bought a new one and it worked good...for about 5 openings...then it broke... so thinkin that nothing on my jeep is chrome but the doorhanldes i bought 2 black ones...put them in...the passenger side one worked great...for about 5...

RE: cherokee console removal when i started it the first time...but he says it took the shop he took it to 4 or 5 tries to get it to work...and i had the cluth out when i rebuilt the engine...so i don;t think it would be rusted to the flywheel...

i talked to the previous owner...we work together...apparently it does this all the time...i remember him tellin me about it when i bought it but didn;t pay mucha ttention...he says it goes through slave cylinders like mad... what would cause that...he says it took the shoip he took it to 5...

ok i checked for fluid gettin to the master and slave cylinder...they are...so unless someone else has ideas...i;'m gonna pull the transmission adn look for damage...maybe i bent a finger on the pressure plate ro somethin...i dunno i'm pretty mad at this point...

so i go to drive it down the roda...and the clutch does not disengage... the fluid is full...there does not see to be leaks... it sat up for about 3 months...air in the lines?

RE: Wiring in windshield mounted lights- could use some advi started right up...sounds good... tried to run hot on me though...the radiator wasn;t completely full...

RE: hmm...almost ready to start...but forgot a few things... ok i found it...after i ordered a new one...it was ina box in my floorboard...i put it in that box with a few bolts that i;ve been goin ot buy so i would not forget where they were...i'm so dense sometimes...oh well...

err...figured it out...i found a hose in my floorboard...
