i got it...i ust pried the crap out of it near the base...figured it was either gonna work or break it...clutch needs to be bled a bit better thoguh...gotta pump it a little before changin gears...no biggie... thanks for all the help guys...one day i won;t be such a newb...

RE: Wanna see "redneck"? as you know i just got a soft top... i have full steel doors... i put it on and it does not fit right around the doors...instead of sealing on the door seel it seals on the inside of the door... i have the part the holds the rod that goes against the seals all teh...

i do have a vacuum pump...pump it in from the bottom right? nice idea on the valve stem...never would have thought about it...

RE: A Gadget Moment hmm...this is the fisrt hydraulic clutch i have ever actually messed with...i hate it already... i got it in and got busy with other things now i gotta bleed it...again by myself...looks like a typical hydraulic brake system with a bleeder port... anyone have an idea how...

hehe...i had a hardtop actually...had to get the whole kit...still gotta get the driveshafts in and the clutch bled to yet...before i can drive it... anyone know a way to bleed it by yourself...? hehe... i kno wthey have one man bleeders for master cylinders...but a clutch?
