    Driveline vibration????????????/

You must have a wicked angle with that SOA setup? I'm not sure you can avoid the SLE route. You might need Snitty's "all of the above"

Met a guy in a Rubicon last nite....

What do you mean steeper tcase, I thought it had the 241 with the SLE as part of the package. Do you mean 4:1 steeper? I want one of those Tcases for my TJ

    help with disconnects!!!!

I got the Tera flex from Quadra teck for my TJ, and for Sully's CJ. Both were no brainer and no cuting. I did have to drill a hole for the TJ disco storage pegs. All in all a good product.

    rocker gaurds idea

Bottom of the CJ has a nice radius, the angle iron works fine. Also with a 4" return it makes a great slide and jackpoint, I'll post pictures when done. Oh and great pictures on that site.

Well if its "signal hill" I can use a 2x4, but if its Mt. Whitney it wil block the door.

    Best Gear ratio?

I've got 373s with 33 x 12.5s, 5th gear is about useless unless going downhill with a good tailwind. I'm going up to 35s and will go 456/488

    T-case question???

Be sure you have the ASSY# ........ when trying to find a replacement. It is 8 digits on the back of the Tcase, covered in mud. On a TJ it starts with 5. It is coded to reveal outputs, yokes, shaft engagement ect.

I've got a steel horse top and it is loud , badly finished, ill fitting and all the locking widgets have fallen apart. Other than that no problems :-)

    rocker gaurds idea

I love this Idea! We've done the 4 x 4s and test mounted them on his CJ. Sully is on vacation and I am exactly at the point where I can do this before painting. I was hoping to have it done before he comes back. I also have a plasma cutter.(and every other piece of fabrication equipment known to...

    Hunters!

Bounty, I dont have a problem drilling thru the tub. The problem is underneath you cant run a 4" return cause it hits the footwell, you cant create that no brainer slide cause its a little messy under there. I need to do some creative bending of a heavy 5' long plate.

    Rear Axles Popping/Clanking

I was told by 2 different manufacturers (1 axle ,1 driveline)that the AMC 20 with solid axles and a "con fer truss" or any truss is easily as strong as the 44. We stayed with the 20, solid axles, ARB, 410s and when we find a truss, we will put it to the test.

    diamond plate???

If your doing the dash, do it in aluminum diamond plate. you can use 1/16" like a laminate and easy to work with.

    Hunters!

Need 1, 3/4 or 2inch spring spacers Sully and I are hunting Rock guards after last weekends outing. We are going to copy yours Bounty for the CJ. We've got the 4 x 4s mounted but havent worked out the deflector/bash tubes. If you had it to do over again would you still use 2 x 2. Almost feel...

    CJ 7 mods

Where do you live? Sully has an 82 with the stock carb. In CA the least problem ,because of emission laws, is to rebuild. We actually exchanged ours with another stock rebuilt. Kind of a trade in your crappy core deal. About $350 including a tuning. It has been performing flawlessly. knock

    Rear Axles Popping/Clanking

Transfer case Vibration " I think"

Wait, I think the NP241 has the SLE built into it. Is it the Rock-Trac 241 from the Rubicon? I have one coming from JB and I'm sure its already done. http://jbconversions.com/pages/nvg241OR/index.html
