    Teach Them YOUNG!

If it wasnt for my kid,(Sully) I wouldnt be driving a jeep now. One jeep in the house is just not enough, why is that? It started with power wheels and moved on to souped up golf carts to the jeeps finally. What a greate way to teach them to use thier hands, thier heads and spend a lot of time...

    Help with Sully's ARBs

He burned up an ARB compressor at Miller Last time we were out. He has both ends locked with ARBs in the CJ. So I got the new compressor, swap it in and check it out. The thing is cycling about 2-3 times a minute, much to often. So I figure its the lines. I get the RE Stainless steel lines and...

    strange clanking

I took my rear control arms off and from the outside the looked great. Problem was the bushing/sleeve inside was worn into a very large hole with a small bolt going thru it. Point is you will not be able to see it until you take them apart. You could take a prybar-lever to force the control arms...

    Belly Up

Joe. Sully was posting pics for me, he's better at the internet :-).Laniac, no way, it gave me 4 more inches of clearance, so the angle got to around 19 degrees, and thats with the SLE type t-case. With a reg TJ 231, the driveshaft angle would be much to steep.

    Belly Up

OK , I'm done with the belly up(nth degree) skid on my TJ. Everything is working perfectly, I did have to raise the motor up 1" because of the fan hitting the shroud. Used the spacer style to keep the stock mounts. I'll take some pictures.

    intakes?

Agreed, the ARB has a function. The cold air funtion is just lightening your wallet a bit. You will get 5 HP gain @ 5000 RPM (not that theres anything wrong with that)

Rubicon comes with a 241 OR t-case which has no slip yoke. Its as short as an SYE. stock.

    4.2 rea main seal?

I just did this job. You dont really have a choice. The seal is cheap, but the job can be tough. It is a 2 piece seal. half of it is in the oilpan, the other half is in the rear crank journal. The only good news is that you dont have to split the motor and trany to get at it.

    I'm having T-case Problems Help !!!!!!!!!

Dont know about your legal battles but I've got a 1999 231 TJ transfer case with 45K miles on it for $300 plus shipping. It is stock with the slip yoke still on it. Nothing wrong with it, I wanted to go to 4.1 and needed a SLE so I bought a 241OR from a rubicon and took it out last month...

    Belly Up

I am installing a Nth degree skid, we get in the rocks all the time so its a big help. The mods I have to do are 1" body lift, SYE and a CV driveshaft, the motor mount lift is not needed. I have a 4" procomp lift that I am slowly swapping the parts out with RE stuff.
