tapping the extractor in causes the bolt to xpand, try tapping and turning at the same time or try a left hand drill bit......... if that fails go with the retap and a grade 5 bolt long enough to thread a nut on and use as a stud without cutting off the hex head. you will find that the gr. 8...

exhaust manifold studs is that a one or two piece seal? can the old one be cut and rolled out, and a new two piece put in?

hey guys, depending on the diffs you have the most common ratio in the zj's are 3:55s. the dana 30 offers two sizes of carrier, up to 3:55 and over 3:55, so its good to make sure of your ratio before ordering internals, asfar as i know the rear uses a similar system, for a little extra grab...

4" is the magic number for the gc zj. anything higher and you get into fairly serious driveline issues. 3"= 31s, 4"=32s.etc. i have a 3week old lift running 3" pro comp coils inthe front w/1" spacer and 4" longer es 3000's, moving the stock front coils to the rear gaining 3.75" over stock...
