Sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me also---I had a truck that would start and run great in park or neutral but no go in drive--was weak fuel pump----Had a friend his Jeep was hard to start and his distributator was not in right.

Ok so I know I have a AMC 20 rear---round with 12 bolts I also know it is pretty worn I have been trying to figure out what gears are in it. I cannot read the stamped on code or even see it--- One guy said jack up the rear end and mark tires and diff. and turn ok tires turn but drive shaft...

Ok so I want to put a locker in the rear of my CJ5 Ialmost never drive it on the road just a farm and woods truck and I do not want to spend $500 so what ideas you guys got for me???

Had a friend that is a little better w/ engines take a look at it for me Im not 100% sure but I thought it was checking the pressure in the engine, we are going to call the place I bought the engine from next week and try to get a replacement.

Got this new longblock motor runs hot VERY quickly---failed on a block test--no water in oil or exhaust any ideas?

The plugs and wires are brand new, It dies @ different times once while pulling a buddy out once on the road and once just in thewoods. Yeswhen it dies and I try to start it right back I do smell gas.

No it turns over but not fire for the plugs

Had the Jeep out this weekend and she died on me 3 different times let would not crank right back--acted like no fire---let her sit for 10min and she would start up and drive fine?? Any ideas?
