How can I pull the axle shafts out of my Model 20 without a puller or slide hammer?! i have new ones to put in and need some help! :???:

The idea of using an airtool or dremel to create a flat head bolt out of it was pretty smart... I'll try that first.. wouldn't have thought of it! Thanks

I need some help... I was replacing the windshield hinges in my 78 CJ5.. and one of the Torx head bolts stripped out. On the back side is just a regular 1/2 inch nut... How can I get this thing out without hurting the tub underneather the hinge?:???:

Yeah I tore it apart today... I need a new hub and shaft.. (and all the goodies in betwen of course) If you have a set you want to get rid of I am definately interested. I have to be money savvy since my daughter was just born on Wednesday morning..lol How much you want for the hubs and axles...

OK I found this at Jeeptech.com.... Identifying the gear ratio of an AMC 20 is a bit tricky. Dana axles normally have a tag on the left of the diff cover with the gear ratio at the time of build. The AMC axles have a code that has to be looked up in a table. The code is stamped on the housing...

Does anyone know if the DANA 20 out of an Early Bronco is interchangable with the one in a late 70 CJ5?

Did you get your hardtop and doors from an individual or a company? I'm in the same boat you were in.

I just bought a 1978 CJ5 that has been redone. all I got was a bikini top with it. Where can I find doors and a hard top or soft top with all the hardware? It's cold here in Indiana HA!
