I drive my CJ5 everyday I can't be in the bike. it's 75 miles round trip to work and back home. would it be wirth my while to try to install one of the new 6 speeds out of a newer wrangler? or...

Complete Front and Rear Dana 44 axles from 1979 Grand Waganeer ($500.00 obo), AMC 360 ($300.00 obo) 727 transmission ($250.00) Dana 300 T-Case with twin Stick ($400.00obo) Can I put those axles under my 78 CJ5?

I prefer Comp cams when it comes to that area, but I don't want to spend a ton on this rebuild... however I want more than the stock 150 HP

Where I can I find beeter than stock parts? I want a decent cam/lifter set and aftermarket crank and pistons I want to go no bigger than .20 over and trying not to get too expensive. Any ideas?!

OK so I just found there are even more options from Oriely Auto parts. up to 1.5 degree shims and the balljoints

ok.. so seems NAPA carries the shims and balljoints for the Dana 30. but I still need to get my degree measurements

:???: ok I went to my local tire shop to have my front end aligned after replacing the tie rods and adjusting sleeve. They told me there is no way to adjust the positive camber that has destroyed a brand new set of tires in 1000 miles.... can anyone give me any insight to what I can do... is...

Yeah I kinda want to move up to a 5 speed and I'm having a hard time finding a T-5 out of a CJ... and even if I did I'm not sure if it would match up to my 304

Well for all you old school Jeepers... this one is for you .. (I hope) Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the motor mounts on an AMC 360 and a Chrysler 360? I want to take my 304 out and put a 360 in, but I want to know if I can use a newer 360 or if I need to stay with the AMC?

I didn't have one and couldn't find one when I pulled my axels about three weeks ago. I just pulled everything off but the hub and smacked it with a hammer... they slide out surprisingly easy.... I definatley suggest the puller if you can find one though

I am looking for new rims for my CJ5 I want to put 33's on them so I know I need 15x10 but don't know where exactly to look for simulock style

Yeah ... the hubs were stripped out already... so I took down to a bare shft hanging out.. put the hub and nut on it and smacked it with a hammer.. took all of two hits hah.. Thanks guys
