Gawd, on a YJ? I can't even think about it :D Maybe an 1" not really worth the trouble. I would do a 2" body lift then you would maintain that great YJ ride. Then add about 3/4" lift shackles. Probably the cheapest way out. When you have the cash for a suspension lift just leave the body lift in.

I think Wranglers really suck in snow & ice. A full size Jeep is MUCH better. Remember, the wrangler is only 2 wheel drive (one front & one rear) unless you have some kind of extra traction device. I also have a Grand, THAT Jeep is excellent. You never know what a Wrangler (short wheel base)...

I think you're thinking of a body lift. In the case of a body lift you'll have to move your radiator down 1" for a 1" body lift. I did my YJ but it's bare bones and no A/C.

I think you're a little late. Everything is made offshore. We are a major supplier for nuke subs and carriers so everything is made in specialty shops and pured in the US. Subs are secretly looking at some forign made stuff and trying it out as retro-fits but I'm not sure how this will turn out...

RE: 4.2 questions I just happened to get one in town. They call them universal (for manual or auto). They have the auto transmission cooler connections, if you have manual don't hook up to them................. :D . The price was $128. but normal price is ~$200.00
