Didn't get a chance to do it today. Instead I replaced my sparks, serpentine belt, thermostat, thermo housing and gasket. Talk about a job well done lol. Next time I have off I will tackle the rear main seal. Turns out my timing chain wasn't to blame for my misfires.

So, Im pulling my engine tomorrow to replace my rear main seal and possibly the timing chain. Any other seals that I should know about to change? Would I need to replace my oil pan gasket? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!8)

Looks like we have the same problem my friend! From what I've heard, the costs for repair at a shop goes anywhere from $300 - $450. You have to remember though, that the part is only $15. Tomorrow I'm going to tackle this job. Doesn't seem to hard, remove engine and replace. I know easier said...

Replaced my distributor cap rotor and throttle position sensor. Tomorrow to replace the crankshaft position sensor. Oh joys!
