TJ Maintenance Thanks guys Been doin' ok :) ........ lotta extra curricular stuff goin' on, so the board has kinda slipped away for a bit.......things are starting to settle down now, so I'll be around a little more. Rob 8) :P :)

Did the same thing after sinking mine a few times....problem is the fan clutch is shot (common problem in TJ's the like to swim). A new one should cost about a hundred bucks, but might be time to upgrade to a switchable electric ? Rob 8) :P :)

Anyone have any idea on a good price for a set of D35 spyder gears for a 99 Shara ? I still have the stock ones, but broke a tooth off of both the upper and lower gears. I would like to get them replaced in time for the Tennessee Run this year, and have no idea where to start. Thanks...

two of the MAJOR cons I have with the Rubi are (1) the price.....28 g's is a lot of money for a romp in the woods vehicle, and (2) once you modify the suspension (at least around here) you void any warrenty (sp?) that Chrysler offers. I was looking at them the other day, and also am not happy...

Good suspension lifts are all around...you really need to find one that fits your needs and gives you the best quality for the money you want to spend. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so I went with a lift that may have cost a little more than most. I may have gotten rubed on...

This should be a fun post lol. The biggest technical differeance between the YJ and the TJ is the suspension. The YJ has leaf springs and the TJ has four coils. The coils make for a smoother softer ride (still Jeep like, but very mellow, some people think that this is better, others worse), and...

If money and time are not a concern, drop the body lift and do it right. The 4" suspension (assuming you get a good one) will make the ride incredible, as well as drasticly improve your flex. I'm kinda biased (not a fan of body lifts), but this is just my two cents. Rob 8) :P :)
