    i need iPod help

98 TJ Sport lift options The new generation of iPods can be used as an external hard drive. That is the iPod mini (4 GB) and the latest 20 and 40 GB iPods. I have the 40 GB, and it's fantastic. This size is a little excessive for most, but I have a huge music collection and also routinely...

They don't call it "dope" for nothin'!!!

Considering they didn't have their dope and were probably "sober" at the time of the report, I don't actually think that drugs are the problem for that couple. Just gotta chuckle and shake my head on that one.

RE: Just what they needed... You can also type in "french military victories" without the quotes and hit I'm feeling lucky to get an interesting result. Or try Google backwards, that is "elgooG". Or "Elmer fudd". Or for you democrats out there "Miserable Failure". Or for the Muppets fans "Bork...

    My Cherokee's Unusual Modifications...

Agreed, if you live in Northern or North-eastern USA (or Canada) there is alot of electricity generated by hydro-electric plants (alot comes from the many hydro-electric plants in Canada, particularly the province of Quebec) along with the nukes. Furthermore, even the coal burning plants these...

    Another cooling question.

Spare on the roof made for some excessiv Yeah, after I replaced the heater core, hoses and thermostat and did a radiator flush, my temp gauge now reads about 25° too low. Doesn't jump around but its consistently low. Is it a big deal to switch to mechanical gauges?

Comparing 2.5 litre TJ to 4.0 re: off-roading, performance

Well I've owned both a 4.0 and a 2.5 (both YJ's not TJ's) and loved them both, but I have to say that I really like the 2.5. Both jeeps were pretty stock but I have much better gas mileage with my 2.5 and have had absolutely no problems getting where I need/want to go offroad with the 2.5. Yes...

    92 YJ Fuel pump circuit

I don't know it this will help at all but I just had my fuel pump (whole sending unit replaced actually) replaced and the guy who did it was having a similar problem. He had to re-ground the system which solved the problem. Maybe this will help.

    New forum appearance

I had the same problem, not a monitor setting. My setting were still somehow partially set to the "XP" style. I went in and manually chose the halloween theme from the forum profile settings and it gave me the green background with white text. So Bounty, try changing the theme manually. You...

    "high output" blower motor

Yeah, Ebay is great but I think people get addicted to the bidding just like gambling. I bet I see 5 or 10 ebayers a week paying more for things (even used items) than what you can buy new. Man, if its a used item and I won't bid for more than 75% of what I can purchase it new (often even less...

not a good day at all

Actually Tug, all of those companies make their vehicles in the US and Canada (possibly Mexico too?). So in fact you are supporting your fellow American even if you buy a ricer. They're not American companies but they employ American workers. I'm not saying that we should only buy these makes...

Unrelated Non Jeep Question about MP3

The gold standard in encoding mp3's is LAME (as mentioned above for Goldwave). However, to get a good sounding mp3 you have to use lame correctly. It is commandline software but there is a frontend (GUI) for it called Razorlame where setting up the options are very easy. You can find it here...

    Abercrombie & Fitch

It's brilliant marketing on A&F's behalf. Look at the stir it's causing, even making it to jeepz.com. They don't care, they'll pull it but just having put it out will have undoubtedly got them many customers for their other clothing. Pure genius, and funny to boot.

    Scored a Hi-LIft, now...

Hi all, Well I scored myself a 48" Hi-Lift yesterday for $35. It is brand new except for the dust that it was covered in. The guy I bought it from had never used it to jack anything. Anyhow, I had it out by my jeep today thinking about install points (I'll probably go the muffler clamp-roll bar...

    Into space and beyond

It truly is a marvelous achievement and its great that it is getting so much attention from the public. Rest assured though, once getting into space begins to be a commercial activity you can be that it will be regulated/taxed by the government.

Random babblings - just because I'm an American and I can.

Nah, do it Chinese style. Bullet to the back of the head and charge the criminal's family for the bullet. Now that is cost effective people. Save the rope for pullin' jeeps from the mud.

    What vehicles have you had?
