I have the motorcraft carb and she'll die when it gets steep. I'm not carburetor expert so maybe this problem can be fixed with some tuning.

maybe you're not old enough to know this but my '66 pontiac has a filter on the antenna to keep engine noise out of the am. You can still buy them today. Lectrosonics Ufm230l Inline Antenna Filter and Amplifier Module

how do you use the foot peg? is it just for cruising or is there a 4X4 purpose to them?

I've never done much with glass. I'm better with aluminum but thanks for the idea. The glass is probably better since it will probably not get as cold or as hot to the touch in extreme weather. I don't feel like burning myself on a hot day. :shades:

I think you missed the part where I'm all stock and a rookie at jeeps. Haven't really been what 'real' jeep guys would call "off road", but when I play around on 3/4- piles in the yard I have to stay into the throttle or it will die.

I put autolite in a 4.2. no problems so far. I've only had it a week though. The plugs I took out were autolite also.

My door panels are for the most part ugly and worn out. I was thinking about replacing with diamond plate aluminum. Anybody do this? My thought is that it would be cold to the touch in the winter maybe a little more road noise and I am not real sure how one would make it look 'nice' at...

once you rip out the carpet and rhino line or line x the entire inside, is there much road noise difference? I know carpet helps damper some sound just curious as to how much of a difference.

I have two friends that are into it. they don't have it on their rigs just at their home. telephones and email seem to be easier and cheaper.
