    Transmission slave cylinder problems

Is the clutch a "performance" one with a heavy pressure plate? If so it could be to much pressure to release the clutch, therefore killing the slaves.... -James

    Looking for 4.10

Pretty much plug & play. There are some variance in wheel bearing, stub shafts, & rotors over the yrs, but you can use yours to make replacements easier. -James

30's generally only come in a 9.5" width. I think if you dig around you might find some wider ones but I wouldn't bother. -James

235's are roughly 28" tall. I ran 30's for yrs and loved it, tried a set of 31's and took them off in less than a week they rubbed so bad. -James

    Looking for 4.10

The only real upgrade would be a Dana 44... you could just upgrade yours some if your not wheeling it to hard. Some more info on what you want it to do, tire size, and terrain and we could help point you in the right direction. -James

Yup, just wire the power to the temp switch to a switched power. You may want to wire in a relay to protect the rest of the wiring tho. -James

in the market for some lockers

IDK man, I've been running Lock rites for 9 yrs now, the same pair and haven't even busted a pin... I've snapped axle shafts and ripped a motor mount off the frame I've shock loaded it so bad. My rear housing and pinion let go before the locker or carrier did. The ONLY time I've seen a lunch...

4.88's with 33's and a 2.5 is just about perfect ;) I ran that setup on the street for a couple of yrs and loved it. You'll get 5th back and you'll be able to keep up on the hills again :) -James

    tj soft top choices

I like mine, the zippers and all that are holding up fine after 4 yrs or so. My only complaint is you can not get replacement parts for it, I put a branch threw the canvas by the rear pass window and they won't sell just the window.... -James

    4 cyl, piston#3 issue

I put 180k on my 2.5 and a lot of abuse too, revlimiter, oil changes every 10-15k, burned the harness twice and it never ever had a cylinder issue. I only pulled it cause I got a 4.0 for a song. -James

I have 4.88's and the 4.0, Lots of fun with the street meats (265'), but I still want to go lower for the woods and my 36's.
