will gears and carrier from an early xj,bolt in axles, fit in my tj housing,c clip axles?Is it worth effort to swap d35 for chry 8.25? I have afree 8.25 but only 27 spline same as d35?Thanks for any input

I have 97 tj 2.5" susp lift I have broke 3 sets of stock sway bar links,pulled apart at the ball,have switched to disconnects.I also forgot to unhook on one outing and ripped sway bar bracket completely off the frame but that could be driving style too low range 2 gear 5200 rpms.

i am very happy with the Banks header 3 yrs no leaks dont know about hp gains but throttle responce is much better

I just asked that same question.The thread is SYE which one?A few recomendations there.I would steer clear of hack n tap setups if you can afford it.

You should be able to do it.I did mine in less than a day.The kit should come with instructions.At 4 inches you will need SYE and rear cv driveshaft.I have driveshaft issues on my 97TJ that only has 2.5 inches of lift.Plan it for a weekend and book a front end alinement for Monday
