I think you can convert the back to 5 on 5.5. I know you can if you put on a full floater kit but I would think you could find another way.

If he has been in a crall space you may want to check it out and make sure there were no cameras. It is not likely but possible. More than likely if you looked him in the face he will not be back. I would pick up some pepper spray, or mase if you can just in case you find him at the screen again.

Get ahold of him and tell him you will head down and help him put the top on when you pick it up. I wouldn't worry about the tags. If you buy it they will usually let you go. Just make sure you have a title, or bill of sale with you when you drive it home.

I have wild countries on my S-10. An all terrain type they are pretty good.

Got my bucking problem squared away I think the biggest thing with the towing capasity is the wheelbase of the Jeep. If you get too much weight on it the boat will be driving the Jeep. I would think that the Unlimited would have a higher towing capacity. If you are close you should be OK...

85 Octain here. I have heard people say that you get better gas mileage with higher octain but I think it is a load of crap besides you don't save enough to make a differance.

I need A front axle I think the price depends a lot on were you are. Here in SL you can not touch a Jeep for under $3000 unless it has a lot of rust, but I would do what redrooster said it works pretty good. You always lowball and every once in a while someone takes it and you get a good deal.

Don't go to a dealter. Find other shops and price them. It si also good if you find a good mom and pop shop.
