Well i've already got a suspension lift. I'm trying to get a few more inches to clear 35s and SOA is outa the question since I can't afford new driveshafts. I'm going to do either a 1 or 2 inch bl and a 1 inch shackle lift. and hopefully i can clear em.

I'm thinking of doing a 2 inch body lift to my 90 YJ manual transmission. Doing a bl requires no driveline modification right?? Does this mess up the length of the shifter? Is there a noticable gap between t he body and my tube side steps??? I'm looking to clear some 35s in the near future so...

I went wheeling today for the first time in a month or so and had a little traction trouble. My rear tires are worn in the middle due to a little over inflation but have plenty of tread on the side. These things acted like slicks in the mud today. Oh by the way they're 33x12.50 Wide climber...

hahaha good call, I didn't really think about it. Those tube fenders look really good but way too much moolaa. I will just gut em and leave the flares off it looks really cool like that, but will the things fold like paper the first time I flex too much?

Well on the front of one right at the crease where i would cut it's bent and pealing but it's not bad. I could hammer it but I wanted to cut em before the accident anyway so this gives me an excuse.

I'm in Raleigh NC which is near the center of NC but closer to the coast. Pretty good trails out here. You could hit Tellico or Uwarie nat'l park but those are pretty hardcore places. But there are plenty of easy to moderate trails in these parts.

Well if you think about it, problems in planes are probably goin to happen to every pilot some time or another, and you could think of it as getting it over with early in your flying career haha.

I've got a 4.2 6 cyl with stock gears and 33s and it's stronger than a friggin ox. I'm not so sure about your 4.0 with stock gears and heavy 33s. Mine aren't super swamper heavy but they're still a load.

Dunlop Radial mud rovers (POS tires or good deal) I went to a small exhaust shop and they welded em and gave em to me for free. I love goin to mom and pop shops rather than a neanderthal pep boys store

I was lookin on tirerack.com at the Dunlop Radial Mud rovers. They look like decent tires and they're cheap too. Anyone runnin these things? Do they last long? Any good in mud?

I agree with snitty. I love the noise of tires. I don't know why everyone is alway complaining about it. Sounds awesome driving by too.
