I would start by bleeding the rear brakes to see if hydraulic fluid is even getting there. Gotta start simple and start at the wheel then work your way up the line to the brake booster. Get a Hayne's or Chilton manual to help you. C

Were you in 5th gear first and just let off the gas or did you let off the gas, downshift, and then went back to 5th? And when you say "it was gone" does that mean you were in 5th but no power, or you shifted to the position of 5th and the engine revved like it was in neutral? Need more info. C

I don't have one on my 89 YJ. I would chunk it. But your engine bay will get pretty dirty after a good day of mudding. Especially in bumper-high liquid. If it's really bad, use some engine de-greaser and a hose to rinse it. I use Purple Power. C

Hiker, I have the Grizzly rims on my YJ and I run 33x10.50 BFG MT. They work great for me and should for you as well. Like graewulf said, you'll expose the sidewalls more the wider you get, but you also help keep the bead on the wheel with a wide tire on a narrow rim. I have some friends...
