I don't think you are supposed to shim the axle (and thus change the pinion angle) when you're running a CV driveshaft? Don't the pinion angle and the TC yoke need to be parallel? I would wait and just get 3" lift springs, that way you'll be lifted plenty and you KNOW you'll need a longer...

They are not compatible. I know this 100% for sure. When I lifted my YJ, an XJ friend wanted my springs for the same reason... so I gave them to him, but they were the wrong length. It's a "no-go". Corey

Yeah, 8" wide rims are fine up to 12" wide tires. Your other option to painting new chrome center caps, is not buying any. Or, maybe you can find some used for cheap. I'd hate to paint something brand new. Corey

33x10.50's will definitely fit with a 4" susp. lift. At least with stock wheels. Because under full stuff, the wheel comes inside the fender well. But this is only true if you install the bumpstop extensions. I have 4.5" lift and I could fit 35's (with my bumpstops installed) but my 2.5L...
