I ran my DD YJ for 7 years without a rear trac bar. Its just useless steel under there. You'll get better flex without it too.

All you need to do is splice the wires together. Make sure they're the right ones. I had to do this for my JB ss SYE. If you don't get the wires right, your fuel gauge won't work I know I had problems with it. Should be pretty easy though, good luck.
