    Off-Road Lights?!

RE: Car is clunking in 4x4...help lots of snow tonight I agree with getting cheap lights. It is much easier to hear them break than the real expensive ones. I bought the "Harbor Freight specials" for both my roof rack lights and replacement fog lights. You can always take the 55 watt bulb...

RE: Re: Transmition Slipping? Fluid level and or transmission filter are the most common reasons for that. Mine leaks about a pint about every month and when I dont check it a while like I know I should I will the same thing you just described.

There is damage to the pillar between the doors but I was told that they would section this with the rocker to be replaced. I dont beleive that the whole pillar is bad just a few inches up from the bottom of the door where the impact took place. They said they are putting it on a frame rack...

    1993 Jeep Cherokee

Just thinking why the jeep would suddenly come alive and that trouble codes not being saved could be a bad connection to the computer. When the computer is disconnected from the battery it will reset the codes explaining why your mechanic is not getting anything on his diagnostics.

    1993 Jeep Cherokee

First welcome to Jeepz. I would say checking to fuel pump to insure it is working would be a good place to start. It could be a sensor in the vicinity of your trottle body jeeps are fuel injected of this year and if your mechanic is telling you have a carb start by replacing mechanic.

    American Beheading in Iraq

I am not going even to pretend to be politically correct. Why dont we upload the video footage of our bombs and missiles flying in on there targets. I know there are some in the past flying into buildings but I am sure there are more graphic video out there that we do not see where there is a...

    12 volt inverter. Flush mount?

I mounted mine pretty high under the hood in fact the hood insulation just barely hits it. I dont plan on taking my jeep swimming so water is much of an issue. Heat has caused it to shut down a few times so I will adventually use a 12 volt computer chassis fan to help cooling. The main...

    altitude problems

Here is the situation. My 94 ZJ 4.0 runs fine normally. I took it on a short trip to Reno Nv. It got more and more gutless as I climbed in altitude. I understand the air is thinner as you climb in altitude which changes air/fuel ratio. I remember back in shop class "some 10 years ago" that...

    12 volt inverter. Flush mount?

I tried using a solenioid when I first installed my 700watt inverter but I found that just cutting of the 12 volt supply did not reset the unit for over current draw. If I pulled to much load I would have to go under the hood and reset the unit. I wanted to be able to reset the unit from...
