    Two Question In One Post

well i can't post a sound file (i'm at college w/o my jeep at the moment...), but take my word for it, the flowmaster sounds very good on a the 4.0 (if yours is the HO version... it might not be as it is an 88... i'm not sure what year they switched to all HO's). go with a flowmaster 30 series...

    Looking for a lift

XJ Gear's to YJ?? go with Rusty's 3 inch lift. i put one on my 97 cherokee about 2 months ago and love it. i didn't do a t-case drop kit or a SYE, so i do have some vibration... but it really isn't bad at all, and i'll fix it whenever i get around to it. the 3" is really enough in my opinion...

    Suggestions for a "2nd" Vehicle?

go for a bmw M3... they're awesome! incredible performance (0-60 in 4.5), good price (under $60,000), and good cargo/people space. if you aren't familiar with the car, i would definitely recommend checking into it.

    transfer case questions??

it should fit... you can check the exact model number of both t-cases though just to make sure. judging by what you said though i think it should fit. i don't know a whole lot about the older cherokees, but i know the newer ones come with either selectrac (2WD, 4WD full, 4WD part, N, 4WD LOW) or...

    braking problems...

4.0l engine i put a 3" lift on my 97 cherokee about a week ago, and ever since i have noticed a significant amount of pull (enough to where i have to fight the steering wheel a good bit) to the right whenever i brake. i can't think of why putting a lift on would have affected anything... but it...

    Bent Frame?!?!

thanks for the input everybody. i'm pretty sure it was just everything flexing... no permanent damage. i haven't noticed anything different while driving it (and i would if there was anything), and everything lines up correctly now. i sure was worried there for a while though!

    Rusty's Off-Road Products

i just bought rusty's 3" kit for my XJ and am very pleased. i also bought their cut-out flares... which are great and worked perfect, except that the pop-rivets that were sent with them were too short... but not a big problem. i would definitely recommend them!

    Bent Frame?!?!

i got REALLY stuck today. the entire right front end of my 97 XJ was under mud and water... not a good situation. we tried everything to get it out... four wheelers and all (unfortunately we didn't have another jeep/truck that could make it to where we were). finally we got it out with a...
