is there a cheep lift for my cherokee

i too would love to hear of this magical 4" lift. i hardly think $80 will suffice for even the most basic components required, much the less begin address the list of problems pointed out by 90Xjay. on top of what he said, UCA's and LCA's may need to be replaced with either adjustable or longer...

    best shock prices

i can't remember the websites that had some real good prices on OME and DT and RANCHO shocks. i know they had free shipping as well. somebody on the site here told me about it a while back... so if anybody remembers, that'd be awesome. sorry thats all so vague, but i figured i'd give it a shot!

    workin' hard

Wiring question/problem i'm pretty sure you have to remove the gas tank to get to the fuel filter... so it would sorta be a pain. i don't think thats your problem anyways though. check the cat out and maybe even replace some spark plugs or something simple like that.

    DESPERATE... help please

well apparently my problem is NOT tires. we found somebody that would let us try out a new set of tires and rims just to see if that fixed the problem... and it didn't. i'm really getting frustrated and am out of ideas. anybody want to buy an awesome jeep (except for the death wobble part)? just...

    DESPERATE... help please

RE: Hood Vents? thanks for the input so far. i'll probably end up changing out the tires... fortunately, i need new ones anyways. my BFG a/t's have almost 40k miles on them... so they've done well. i have to decide if i want to get a set for the wheels i have now, or go ahead and jump for the...

    DESPERATE... help please

RE: yj hardtop well i've had a few other posts over the last couple months about my ongoing death wobble problems. here's the deal... i've replaced almost everything i can think of that would be a possible cause of the problem: - heavy-duty BDS lower control arms - adjustable BDS tracbar - new...

    cherokee console removal

RE: Why can thanks for the help... mine ended up coming off about like saurian's 2000. after a little more consideration... i decided not to rip out all my carpet and herculine the interior. there was a good bit more insulation under there than i expected, so i figure if i took it out it would...

    cherokee console removal

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: I shimmie just wondering if anybody knows how to get a 1997 cherokee center console out. i've loosened every bolt i can find connecting it to the chassis... but its still attached somehow and i can't see where. i'm considering herculining my interior if i can get all...

    american racing wheels

yeah, they are quite expensive... especially compared to my $40/rim AR767's. the mohaves are more than the victors though... and i've found the victors online for about $150 a wheel, which is getting close to reasonable. i just really love black wheels, but mine are already starting to get a few...

    american racing wheels

just wondering if anybody has any experience with american racing's TEFLON wheels (or has heard anything about them). i'm considering replacing my heavy old AR-767 rims with some nice new AR victors or mohaves. also... what are the pros and cons of upping to a 16 inch rim over the 15's that all...

    new grand cherokees

wonder why the liberty (IFS) called a KJ... i guess if it has "K" anywhere in the name its an IFS??? i don't see much rhyme or reason to the system... atleast jeep can build good vehicles even if they suck at naming them.

    death wobble woes...

twistedcopper... i've had the lift on for about 2 years now, and hadn't had any trouble until about 3 months ago. it was aligned right after i installed the lift and worked beautifully. i suppose it probably has just gotten knocked out of alignment over the past couple years or whatever... and i...

    death wobble woes...

RE: oil well i think i got it all fixed... finally. i originally was going to put an adjustable BDS tracbar on, but after some more consideration decided to try replacing the control arms with some heavy duty BDS ones and got a good alignment job done. It seems to be working great for now. I...

    death wobble woes...

well here's the story... i have a 97 cherokee with a 3" lift and 30" tires. back in february, it started developing somewhat of a death wobble... although it was mild at first. it gradually got worse and worse, so i decided to put a heavy duty old man emu steering stabilizer on. that seemed to...

    Air intake

good choice with the cone filter... it will serve you better than just cutting out the box. i've hit plenty of water with my jeep and never had a problem... and i know you'll get better hp/mpg results with the cone over modifiying the box.
