Is the RUBICON lifted compared to a stock tj.

I have an 04 rubi that I just put a 1" body lift on. The wrangler mt/r tires were 30.7" tall (LT245/75R16/E). I just tried a LT285/75R16/D which is 32.8" tall. This tire is overall 2.1" taller with a radius increase of 1.05" which with all calculations considered should fit and it does. I...

HAS ANYONE NOTICED RUBICON REAR BRAKES DO NOT WORK WELL

I checked wilwood. They say you can use them to reduce front break pressure but they do not reccomend it. What do you think about using a steel braided line in the rear and leaving the rubber ones up front.

RE: Gauges acting wierd when I hit the brakes or go over a b You can try to drill a hole real close next to the mount and tap a screw in their to hold the peice of steel in the bodyand use lots lubricant. I cut the bolts ground them down, redrilled the hole and retapped the holes.

HAS ANYONE NOTICED RUBICON REAR BRAKES DO NOT WORK WELL

Theirs alot less friction in the yj since the axle doesnt have to differentiate every time you turn the wheel. You can turn the front drive shaft when its unlocked. Cant turn the rubi's. Where do you adjust the brakes from, At the valve? Did you spell that right wilwood?
