ive seen the fuel injection kits in various parts catalogs for around $2k they also mention that they are basically YJ parts from 91-95...so cant I just go to a junkyard and get all those parts off a yj alot cheaper? Tug,how do you like your motorcraft?

had it a couple weeks ago...absolutely horrible fever and chills. 4 days of %#$@ and another couple days to recover and get strength back. i quarantined myself after i knew i was exposed and luckily dont think i passed it on. I sincerely hope you all stay clear of it!

I'd love fuel injection ,its relatively high on my list. need a lift,one pieces,discos,33's first :) probably do the engine next summer and go with fuel injection then. going to try the venturi cleaning,among other things shortly,thanks for the hookup on that article!

not sure what carb...previous owner had it replaced and i havent looked to see what kind-he said it was direct factory replacement,i'll check it out when it stops raining and i get started on it and let you know. thanks everyone! Dave

this is a very recent problem....ran smooth as silk until last couple weeks-cold weather maybe?

Headlight "problem" going to adjust idle screw on carb(carb is only a year old,but unfortunately direct factory replacement-i didnt do it) check air cleaner,pcv valve-although i changed both 4 months ago...have been in alot of mud and water though check my plugs and wires change my rotor...

looks like im sticking with manuals :) and Utah,i love your idea!!! maybe ill make the rule the passenger locks/unlocks hubs and hooks up the chains when im stuck heheh

do they make an air locking or cable locking system so i can lock the front hubs without getting out? thanks!

not sure about a car of that age...i have a 79 z28 that was in pristine condition(got hit) and i would imagine far easier to get parts for,and it still spent alot of time and money on repairs. now, alot of it was simple things that i could have done without fixing if necessary like power window...
