    Axle Help

Ok, So you're suggesting that I go with a 2-2.5 or even 1.5 springs? and get them for a wagoneer, or whatever springs i end up with?? that makes sense, a lot more sense. So how do your order an SOA?? what is the best company that provides?? and do I order by the axle or vehicle?? that may sound...

    Axle Help

Well I have big plans for my YJ including a new motor, trani, and transfercase. But the biggest that I need help is the suspension. As of right now I have 2" shackles and a 1" body lift. I plan on purchasing Skyjackers 4" double military wrap springs and an SOA. So that adds up to roughly 9"? So...

Like Craig said it is probably your circuit board has gone bad, had the same problem on my YJ. I just hardwired in a couple new gauges and it works just fine. I wouldn't try to find a new circuit board because I had no luck, good luck. LR

    Weekend wheelin

Well I just got home lastnight from a day of wheelin. I went with a couple of buddies to Randolp Kansas, Tuttle Creek Lake, and wheeled for the day and had a GREAT time. I think I was the only one to get stuck, haha. I tried to go through a healthy mud pit in my YJ with 33s and ended up bein...

    YJ Vaccum hoses question

"C" is just a check valve. It lets vacuum in one way but not out the other. I don't know if yours works but on my YJ it didnt work after I put my lift on so I had to divert to a homemade posi-lok. works pretty slick. But anyway WELCOME!! LR

    New here

well you said that it was going to be an offroader, so if you're going to do a lot of mods and replacing everything for like a big rockcrawler, I would go with a YJ. That way its not the nicest rig that you tear down. It's easy to get parts for and you have many options on engines, axles, lifts...

    Problem to start

I had the same problem on my YJ but I have the carb. 258 so it might be a little different. We found out that the problem was the distributor. I can't remember exactly what was wrong with it but we replaced that and it started right up. LR

    Front-end protection

My dad made one for my YJ out of 2" steel tubing. I hit a deer going around 35-40 and it bounced off. You could always make up your own design and have it made by a fabricator? Just my 2cents LR

    hurculiner project

I put just a childs clay in the holes. After it dries the herculiner ontop of the clay is soft and you can poke through it and then push the rest of it through the hole and whats left is pushed down by the bolt. LR

    looking for a comanche

I'm thinin about gettin a MJ and I don't know if you could answer some questions. How much of a lift can you get for them? All I've found is a 6.5". So you could probably fit 33's under yours with a 5" right? Are they easy to work on? Thanks LR

    ran across this

If this is the same one I've seen the Cherokee went up the dam, and went down the other side, toward the water. He couldn't back up the dam and for some reason couldn't be winched back up so they went to the other side and hooked up a winch and winched it across the pond. the end result was a...
