What muffler would work for a '88 YJ with no cat? I'm thinkin somethin like a flowmaster but there's so many choices and I don't know what will work. thanks for any input. LR

Hey I don't know if you're still looking for help but that is what I want to do with my YJ, if I end up keeping it. But I found that www.zandm.com is a company that specifies in the 5.0 in the YJ, but I don't know if any of this will help since you're looking for a CJ. LR

I've put the same lights on my YJ and had no problem. Then again......my dad used to work with the electrical side of pipelines, so he told me what to do and I did it. Sorry I'm no help but they do work pretty good, atleast for what I need them for. LR

Ok, I have another question about the XJ's. As I've looked at some on the internet at local dealerships, some have a 3 speed, 5 speed, or 6 speed automatics. Is there a big difference or does it matter?? thanks LR

On my 88 YJ I've had oil come from the grommet by the firewall thats on the valvecover. i dont know if yours will have the same. LR

I've heard of diesels in jeeps but not very much. the only way i would think you could get a diesel engine in a jeep was from like a VW rabbit or a Frito Lay Truck like jaymz77 said. LR
