The hard top has to be off. The channel is what your weatherstripping sits against on the front of your hardtop.

Could it be one that has a CV shaft running out of the back? I think they used to be used for farming. I could be wrong but thats my guess. LR

My brother put a spool, same idea, for about $80 from O'Reily's and it has held up excellent. He's had no problems. Just a thought LR

Well how much are you going to use it? Daily Driver or trail rig? If it were a trail rig I would go with the YJ. But if it were to be more of a daily driver I would go with #2 if the motor was rebuild. just my .02 LR

I had a 1" body lift and a 2" shackle lift on my old YJ and I could clear 33s but.....they were rubbing in the rear. But that could be fixed with a sawzaw. I got the shackles from JCwhitney and the body lift from M.O.R.E. LR

I went through the dealership, and it was EXPENSIVE!! I think it was close to $3-4 a bolt. I would try fastenal or somewhere like that. LR

The 4.0 is what replaced the 4.2L. The 4.2 had the carter carb. and then it was replaced with the fuel injected 4.0. LR

Yeah this does suck, its April, AND ITS SNOWING!! But yeah the temperatures are dropping so I'm thinkin it'll stay a lot longer this time. LR
