RE: No Jeep yet!! but my girlfriend owns a '99 cherokee sport and it is time to replace the cat. converter. So she calls the dealer (first mistake) to get a price on one. They promptly tell her that it will cost her $800, not including labor. She asked them if she could use an aftermarket part...

we have a great spot here near york pa. It is mild wheeling to get to the campsite, but there are alot of trails there that you can go to, from moderate to difficult. just a little local spot not many people know about. I go there in the summer months quite often.

RE: cj5 hardtop and doors needed a tj equipped with mat-tracks(drunken spelling?) will do wonderful. my y j is absolute crap in 2 wd. but in 4wd does just fine.

after owning both I would highly recommend the motorcraft. I hated my weber, and all it did was kill mileage, rob my power, etc. yes it was setup correctly. :edit: motocraft is alot cheaper too!

Fuel tank sending unit interchange? does any one know if any header for the 4.0 will fit on a 99 jeep cherokee? g/f's xj manifold is cracked and looking for a replacement but when I search for headers they only list for xj's up to 97. any experiences with any different headers on an xj? borla...

sorry I cant help, but I am curious. The jeep is a 93 with a 4.0 I assume, and at one point the motor was replaced with another 4.0 right? I have never heard of a puket-it transmission in any year jeep with the 4.0, just a few years with the 4.2. Anybody else think that this sounds odd?

have you checked ebay? I have seen those on there alot and they are pretty inexpensive too.
