A good starting point is getting a Manual with a wiring diagram. Did you check fuses? The wires could be from a PO adding stuff. If you have time to you can look under the dash and try to match up connectors. Where the hanging wires are should be close to where it plugs into. Or feel free...

For the rear view find a GM with the lights on them, and wire it inside your jeep. Mustang seats from I think '82-94 should fit... Full size Bronco's have the same wheel bolt pattern, tons of them in junkyards. unless of course you are going for stock items, then you can ignore me.
