    TJ on road ride?

Any particular shocks you would suggest? I have a 4" short arm skyjacker lift. I will lower my tire air pressure asap.

    TJ on road ride?

I am running nitros. I will double check my air pressure and look in to changing shocks. I read somewhere that disconnecting my sway bar could make things softer. Is there any merit to that?

    TJ on road ride?

My ride to and from work is killing me. I ride 7 miles one way through city streets and never get over 40 mph. I love my jeep, I mean love it, but over the years the ride has gotten stiffer. I feel every crack, every slight imperfection in the road. I don't have a roll or bounce it is a hard...

I got the 33x10.5 BFG TA/KO today. They ride great. Thanks for all the input.

    33x10.5x15 on a 15x7 Rim

I love that what we Jeepers think is loud and what the rest of the world deems loud are two different things. I tend to be yelling alot when I get to where I am going.

    33x10.5x15 on a 15x7 Rim

I appreciate all the advice. I just didn't want to throw down to buy new rims if I could get by on the stock ones. I currently run 33x9.5 and although my friends rib me about rollin on pizza cutters, they have been great tires. Only think I have to decide now is whether I stick with the BFG...

Where can I get spedometer gears?

I switched out mine on my '06 TJ and is was super easy. I went to quadratec and used their sizing chart. I think it was like $20 or so.

    33x10.5x15 on a 15x7 Rim

I know that seems like an obvious yes, but I do not want to cause the tire to sit funky because it is trying to squeeze on to a narrow rim. I have had 33x9.5 and they are great, but they are also pizza cutters. How wide a tire can you run on a rim before you need a wider rim?

    boycott vise grip/irwin tools!

Economics is just how we study and understand what's happening. I personally try my best to buy american when I can, but half the time I buy something I later discover it was made somewhere else. The mighty dollar and how far I can stretch it dictates where I send it for the most part. Thanks...

    Brake Question

Thanks for the advice. I bled the brakes and everything is working like a champ now. There was air in the lines in the right front and left rear. Thanks again. Love this forum.

    Brake pad and rotor advice

Have you gotten the rotors and pads? Any feedback for us on what you think?

    Brake Question

So today I decided to stop putting off replacing the rotors and brake pads on my '06 TJ. I have done this once with supervision to my old Cherokee. So I muddled my way through it with no major issues except that I couldn't get the piston pushed back on the passenger side to slide the caliper...

    Sye

I have heard a lot of talk, tons of messages and people seem to agree that a SYE is the way to go. My question is how much of an impact will it make to me? Will I really notice that big of a difference to driving around with a 4" lift and a TC drop? Just want to make sure my next "project" is...

    General Tire question

I checked and they are stock 15 X 7 steel rims. I know I will probably have to use a 1" wheel spacer, but what I am worried about is the width of the tire I can run on that size rim.

I joined the Z about a month ago and have loved every minute of it. I was thinking that if any of you guys/gals live in the Greenville, SC area and are in a club or know of any, you could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

    Slight Vibration in 06' TJ

I have a X. I keep hearing everyone endorse the SYE, is it that good? I only ask because I do not know. If so, is there one anyone would recommend in particular?

    General Tire question

It is an '06 TJ with a 4" skyjacker lift. They are stock rims.

    General Tire question

How big of a tire can I fit on my stock rim before I need to go out and get new rims. I like the way my rims look, but for my next tires I want 33 x 12.5. I am assuming I will prob have to get new rims. Is that the case?
