U don't have to have water in the oil to have a bad head gasket try putting the fan on a toggle switch so u can run it when u want maybe change out the temp sen. To see if the temp gauge is right or not at 260 it should be boiling

Heater core was plug go figure replaced it and running normol now

See if u can look under there to see if the cord is still connected

It was probably changed because it was slipping in the first place and thought changeing it would help and with that many miles i would say its gone

is it getting spark right now. if so try giveing it a good shot of starting fluid and see if it run's off of that if it does than i'd say your fuel pump is bad although it sound's like it is sence you said you have no fuel at the rail but if it will run on the starting fluid than at least you'll...

Use a long screw driver pry bar pipe or whatever with it running put it agaist or very close to whatever u think it may be and put ur ear to the other end u should be able to pin point it like that

U could sandblast but will be messy and a pain a good wire wheel on a grinder works well

they come both way's some have the cv type some have the u joint type don't think a cv would make that kind of noise the u joint one might but i would bet more on a rubber mount or bushing
