Well, lets start by saying I found PART of my problem the guy I bought the jeep from NEVER did brakes and the rivets on the rear almost made it threw the drum...lol...alsi i found he liked to mud and not clean as in all the vent holes on both rotors were full of concreted mud....cleaned em out...

Ok bought a 1989 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with the 4.0...gas gauge does not work however the truck truns and drives great....assuming I have a test light will there be power coming to the gauge cluster that I can test with it or would there be a better way to find out what is needed i.e. fuel tank...

tie rods lift the vehicle off the ground then shake the wheel left and right if it moves a bit you have bad tie rods... my death wobble went away then came back...i took off my rims and got some good tires and balance then found out my rotors where full of mud (the vent holes)...cleaned em out...

wonder if i could get some parts off those....lol mine still runs!

ok front sway bar done and track bar done....anyone know if rear sway bar from an 86 comanche will fit an 89 cherokee...btw the front sway bar i got from the same comanche worked excellent....

I bought a front sway bar off an 86 comanchee and it seems to fit fine and work for my application....just wondering if the rear sway bar would be a match as well.....anyone that can answer this i would much appreciate it.

Now that I can get it to 35 mph i have the DEATH WOBBLE..i know what to check just dont have the money right now....i know it needs to be dropped back down from its redneck 4" lift lol (you should see this hack job) and get a sway bar put in (yes its not there) and some normal tires (4 different...

I have it too, but I beleive mine to be tires and a missing sway bar...and a redneck lift 4" spacres on top of the coils and 4" shackle lift in the rear..its ugly and imma drop it back down change the tires and get a swaybar and see if it fixes it.

If you haven't bought it yet send me his number I will....lol .....no seriously buy it, then with your extra couple hundred get a low mileage engine from the junkyard and rebuild it slowly to have ready when yours dies.

I think I need to buy a manual...to identify the IAC and the EGR...This engine is foreign to me.

If anyone has a pic of their underhood it may help him....and me!
