Your Favorite All Time Jeep Photos

My brother-in-law Andrew's '04 Rubicon on a recent Jeep run at Barnwell Mountain OHV Park, in Gilmer (East) Texas. Andrew driving, me riding shotgun and Ashley in the back.

    Hard Top Window questions (tint?)

Mine has the gap also...but each side has a little roughly 2" long metal c-type clip that attaches to the weatherstripping and covers the gap. Those clips evidently don't stay attached very well. One side is loose and has slid off of the weatherstripping, while the other side is holding up...

    Trick or treaters

I think our neighborhood must be listed in some Halloween directory of people who are suckers ("suckers" get it?..ha!) and hand out a lot of candy. Kids are driven in, bused in, and flown in on charter flights...at least it seems that way. All I know is our Halloween candy bill keeps going up...

    Come on Man !

Same here. Can't park my Comanche MJ in the street overnight next to my house (quiet neighborhood also) without some punk(s) breaking the window. :x I now park it in the driveway, with strong motion sensitive lighting. That seems to be working well so far. The YJ stays in the garage.

    Exciting New Venture?

"Slinky" coil springs for Jeeps? Jeep steering wheels made from Hula-Hoops? Yo-Yo winches? GI Joe hood ornaments? Sham-Wow seat covers? Just funnin' ya...whatever it is I wish you well. Larry

    installed new fog lights

Hey Jason...I assume they are halogen..what is the wattage output (55w, 100w...)? Are they true fog lights or driving lights? How much were they? Have you used them at night yet? Any noticeable difference? I know...way too many questions...sorry. They look good on your YJ! Larry

    Most essential accesorie?

Lower gearing (higher numerically) and lockers are definitely on the wish list. Currently the best accessory is the hard top.

    YJ and proud of it!

I too love my YJ (and my MJ)...but I would probably feel the same way about a TJ, JK, CJ...or almost any Jeep. Just like the darn things! Can't help it. :D

    What is your daily car?

LAND ROVER....heresy! Just kidding, Todd. You have a truly blended family there with both the Wrangler and the Landy...ha! BTW, I drive my '87 Comanche MJ (like I have for the last 15 years or so)...when not in my Wrangler YJ. We also have a Toyota Corolla which is my wife's...

    Replacing lifters

You might also try an oil additive (if you haven't already) such as CD2 or Marvels Mystery Oil (there are other good ones as well). I had a bad one tapping in my Comanche. Substituted a quart of Marvels Mystery Oil per oil change and it has been almost 2 years with quiet lifters. Beats...

    Jeep Wrangler dash camera mount

Nicely done, Terry. Do you get much vibration or shaking in the videos or stills while moving (beyond expected amounts on bumpy roads)?

    your first jeep ride

My friend and some buddies from high school were tooling around in his dad's military Willys MB on a Saturday...when I asked if I could drive the Jeep. He let me take the wheel and I promptly took it up the back side of a Corp of Engineers dam at a nearby lake. That old Willys just kept on...

    Texas Jeepers

You are a true Texan my friend. Are you a member of the Lone Star Jeep Club? Anyone else here in Texas a member? I just recently joined and went on a fun run up in Bridgeport (shotgunned in my brother-in-laws Jeep). Lots of fun. Larry

Abercrombie to pay 'Jersey Shore' cast to stop wearing its clothes

Abercrombie & Fitch (among others) has no basis to complain about how their products are used. They have used young children in their ads, and exploited them sexually for quite some time. It is one thing to exploit adults who can make their own informed decisions, but I draw the line with...

    Jeep hard top

More options with a Wrangler or CJ hardtop...removable...swaps out with soft top, etc. Also, not so bad when it is 110 degrees in the shade, or 20 below zero in the winter. I like mine (must be a "sissy"..ha!).

    My Yuppie Jeep...

Thanks for the info on the mirrors, Boge. Also, looked at your website. Very nice! God is in control...the 2nd amendment rocks...Jeeps are cool...and guitar pickers live forever. :shades: Larry
