Mine was a 1953 M38A1 with a swapped in 225 "Dauntless" V6. Sold it before I new what I had. Doh!!!!

University of Texas (Longhorn) orange isn't bad. Even though I am a Texas Christian University (Horned Frog) alum...I don't care much for purple either. Anyway, the color of a Jeep won't make it perform any better. :shades:

Also, you should grease your muffler bearings at least every 3,000 miles, or 3 months, whichever comes first.

FYI...That little rubber fill plug found on many Dana 35's may also need to be replaced if it is not sealing properly. That part cost me $8.00 at the Jeep dealer. Nice write-up, Terry!
