So, anyone been to China? *speaking of careers*

I second that sentiment.. I haven't been to China, but I was about 10km away when in Russia. Take some time and learn some basic chinese phrases and especially customs. Learning the language will be a nightmare, as it it the only language harder to learn than english. There are thousands of...

    Tow strap suggestions?

I take it you have never put one through the back of your Jeep then.. I had a 10,000 lb strap (walmart special) come apart at the stitching. Luckily the hook stayed attached to the vehicle being pulled.. caved in the rear hatch on the XJ that was doing the pulling. If it had gone a little...

    Tow strap suggestions?

#1... avoid tow straps... you want a snatch strap - these store the energy and give you a better pull if you get really stuck and result in less of a shock to the vehicles. #2 I would not buy anything smaller than 20k - I've broken 10k straps on a moderate stuck #3 - 30 foot is a good length for...

Re: RE: help! need to bring life back to my fender flares piece of cake, buy the kit at any auto store, you have the new system, not freon. Get the kit with the gauge. You unhook the compressor control switch (it is a wire hooked to the canister) and short the leads to turn the compressor on &...

RE: Leaky tires driving me nuts You arent that far from us.. join us next sunday (the 29th)... We filled 3 of the large rollback dumpsters last year, not counting the boat, 2 oil tanks (like 500 gallon), and other stuff that was literally dragged out.

    No Fan, A/C, or heat

when you say the fuses are all good, did you actually check them with an ohmmeter? visual inspection is not good enough, as they sometimes blow right at the end where you can't see it.

RE: Brake line flaring Actually, it reminds me more of the old cherokee design taken up a notch. This reminds me more of a cross between the Land Rover and the Cherokee than the H3. And the features that it sports Land Rover has had for years. I would say that this is not for the person who...

    Swap in a cruise control?

I've never installed one myself, but have looked into it in the past. Research before you buy. there are better kits and there are worse kits. THey don't really look all that hard to install though.

do you run a radio and what is your setup

i have a uniden pro510XL mounted in my Jeep.. it is nice & small. I have a radio shack 5' whip antenna attached to the roof rack and I will always have one in my jeep. they aren't very useful for long range communication, but on the trail they are essential. Every Jeep should have one for this...
