go to the rubicon express web site. and down load the instructions for their 4.5" lift. it will tell you the proper way to shim the rear axle. i dont remember what it was but there is a couple of different shims that will fix different problems. accelerating deceleration and just chugging...

well thanks guys. my yj has recently started running 210 when on my way home and it normally runs 190 on the way home. it was around 38 degrees out when i was driveing. it just doesnt make sense.

i have had the pleasure of owning an 89 yj sahara. i have had a few lifts in it. first was a rough contry. stay away from them. if you want to know why do a search for my posts. i put in a 3 inch body lift. on it. loved the body lift i can now wash the top of the transmission and do work in it...

i have an off color on my yj. its what i call oxidized olive drab green. it was a standard color for the sahara edition. but time and neglect lead to a really bad layer of oxidized paint that makes it look different ... now i just cant figure out how to mix up a can of this color to repaint it...

yep its a DD and i got a set of 35's i want to put on it. just cant afford the gas it will take to drive it the 40 miles to and from work every day. so its 35's on the weekend, and 33's to work and back. now i just need a set of rims for the 35's???? lol
