My TJ is black but my top is tan, has anyone had any experience in painting one, lets say, black? If so, what kind of paint would you use and would you follow with some sort of clear coat or is this just not recommended? Thanks

I used forever black, the stuff Terry posted and it held up for over three years. Good Stuff, I used it on all three of my vehicles trim.

Did you do anything about the holes in the door hinge? Just curious in case I do this next summer.

BH, I know 7ID moved up to Lewis, but don't know if they changed their flag or not. They were the lightfighters, I think they were one of our few straightleg divisions. I'm pretty sure I heard they redesignated them into something else and dispersed them. Everything is Mech now.

I'm still at Fort Hood currently, don't report to Ft Lewis until Mar 08. I am in neither divisions, but was in 4ID back in 1987 when they were at Fort Carson, CO. I hope I can meet up with some Jeep Peeps when I get to Washington.

Yep, I had a Honda 125 and I can't remember the times I wrecked that thing. I had to straighten the handle bars at least 50. LOL The stupid things we did and all without a helmet. Even EK wore one.

I have a 16x30 storage shed with double doors in my backyard. The top goes in there.

BH, they have combined many MOS recently. I was a 15E which was Pershing Missile Crewmember (nuke) and then I changed to 91T which is Veterinary Technician which has been redesignated as 68T. All the medical field is now the 68 series. Heavy wheel and such are still 63 series I believe.
