    Check your lugnuts guys!!!

Looks like you've been mudding, did the flex perhaps cause them to loosen up? Don't know for sure here, but that was my first guess after looking at the picture. Good thing is that your fine and the Jeep only suffered some minor wounds. How fast were you going? Dang, gotta be a scarey moment...

    I'll start things off

Harker Heights is in Central Texas, about 14 miles from Temple. If you know where Fort Hood it, then you know where Harker Heights is. Oh, bout time for the game.

    TJ Hardtop Color

My TJ is black but my top is tan, has anyone had any experience in painting one, lets say, black? If so, what kind of paint would you use and would you follow with some sort of clear coat or is this just not recommended? Thanks

From Fort Hood to Fort Lewis

BH, I know 7ID moved up to Lewis, but don't know if they changed their flag or not. They were the lightfighters, I think they were one of our few straightleg divisions. I'm pretty sure I heard they redesignated them into something else and dispersed them. Everything is Mech now.

From Fort Hood to Fort Lewis

I'm still at Fort Hood currently, don't report to Ft Lewis until Mar 08. I am in neither divisions, but was in 4ID back in 1987 when they were at Fort Carson, CO. I hope I can meet up with some Jeep Peeps when I get to Washington.

    R.I.P. Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel

Yep, I had a Honda 125 and I can't remember the times I wrecked that thing. I had to straighten the handle bars at least 50. LOL The stupid things we did and all without a helmet. Even EK wore one.

From Fort Hood to Fort Lewis

Come on 90, that's not right, I don't have any long teeth. I barely have teeth. LOL, Well, it's like this, I could drop papers now (21 Years in) but the wife has family in Seattle so I reckon this will be my last move as a Soldier. I sure will miss Texas since I am a native, but the family has...

TC, I was thinking about my EK motorcycle also before I read your post. That was one of my most favorite toys growing up, that and the rockem sockem robots and I had another that I can't remember the name but you set up a field goal and placed the football in front of your kicker and hit him on...

From Fort Hood to Fort Lewis

BH, they have combined many MOS recently. I was a 15E which was Pershing Missile Crewmember (nuke) and then I changed to 91T which is Veterinary Technician which has been redesignated as 68T. All the medical field is now the 68 series. Heavy wheel and such are still 63 series I believe.

From Fort Hood to Fort Lewis

BH, I'm a 68T. Terry, Fort Lewis is in Tacoma Washington. Yep, I want to stay away from I-5 for sure. Everyone has told me to stay east of the post, but everything is really pricey up there compared to Texas.

From Fort Hood to Fort Lewis

Well, it's official. I report to Fort Lewis in Mar 08. Already started looking for houses so if anyone has ideas where to live I would appreciate it. Currently I have been looking around the Yelm area. And I don't quite remember if there is anyone on Jeepz that is from that area. Thanks, KJ

    Music

Just bought me a greatest hits Jan and Dean CD the other day for 1.95. Nope, I'm not that old, but some of their music is good. Dead Mans Curve and such.
