    never found one of those, I think i found the plugs where one may have been.. will get out and take pictures right shortly.. wait for the sun to come up... fair warning, I haven't detailed under the hood yet, been so busy repairing the outside.. also, checked the castor angle, read 1 degree...

    need Speed control regulator for CJ-7 '84

    I'm looking for the speed control with a 14 pin wire harness.. fits my 1984 CJ-7... I have the servo and lever control, just missing the regulator and the wire plug.. thanks.. wayne from the looks of it, its the same as what is used on the cherokee models too..

    under the dash up in the top drivers side firewall, there is a 6 pin white connector.. it goes through the firewall to the cruise control servo on the fender.. has red, orange, white, blue (or purple), green, yellow leads coming off of it.. they have been cut going to where ever they go ...

    don't even need the tape if the dome light was installed correctly, you only switching ground to the light bulb. so that wire is just a ground (switched) connection.. of course the plug for it has to be in good shape or it will turn your light on everytime it bounces to ground..

    I would imagine posi or locking differentials would be bad news with tracks, and you'd really want to install a braking system that would brake left or right, and still be normal with the brake pedal.. that way you could steer by braking like a cat does.. and all of this is null and void if...

    If you don't pick them up, I have a set of brand new 4" springs for the CJ also.. I plan on doing the 2" or 2 1/2" on my CJ.. depending on where your located, the other may be closer and you didn't mention price, trade, or ?
