Its not that the splines wont align. The cable wont budge at all. It wont move enough to even touch the other spline. Mike

I put a 4x4 Posi-lock kit in my '94 YJ. The cable works fine when its not attached to the axle but when its installed the cable wont budge. I have a 3" lift so i bought the kit for lifted jeeps. It works once in a while but not in any consistent way. Any idea what could be wrong with it? Mike

Yeah i have the same problem. I was thinking about new drums and pads, maybe high performance of some sort. From what I've heard the best mod is rear discs but the conversion kits are $500. Mike

Yeah I'm with u and mud, black is the way to go. I've seen black aluminum wheels before but that was only becuase they were teflon coated. I'd go steel. Mike

Let it breath better. Intake and exhaust modifications will help somewhat. An electric fan I've heard works well also. Mike

My dad had this problem with his truck. Its either a short like many people ahve said, or if the dealership doesn't find a short, which is what happened to us, then it is a ground on the battery. Thats where we found the problem. It was corroded and not making a good contact. Fixed the problem...

I didnt regear my YJ when i put 31"s on it. You def loose top end and gas milieage but its not severe enough to warrant doing it ASAP. I have no problem living with it.

Im looing at the same thing for my YJ. Be cool makes a kit as well. I think i'm gonna sticlk with the flexi-lite since the Be cool seemed to be about the same price. Mike
