    96 Jeep Cherokee runs fine then rough, then fine

    try this, when the jeep is running and hood open use a flashlight to tap on the ecm if it runs like crap then clean and reconnect the harness use zip ties to secure the plugs so they do not rattle. if it still runs funny after the zipties when you tap the ecm the ecm may be faulty.

    Anyone had to have their Jeep go through salvage inspection?

    in my state is a requirement to replace all of the seatbelts following any reported accident. not sure if that matters where your at.

    hey there utah, looking at your pictures i see you are using e3 plugs, DO NOT DO THAT!!! use the stock plugs unless you have upgraded the rest of the ignition system to work (well) with high end plugs

    was a mechanic professionally highly recommend the 4.0 inline 6, its simply the best one to own in my opinion.
