Hey, I have a 1985 Jeep XJ. It has the 2.8 V6 (with 103k and still runnin' strong), auto, 2-door. The body is pretty solid. I replaced the transmission fluid and filter. SmellyXJ just got a '93, so we moved the '85 to my place. $500's the price. I think it's a pretty fair price, I just need it...

Thanks, guys! Sully, ironicly (sp?) the rear flares were more time-consuming as the the wheel well didn't offer much hand room and it was a little tougher to line up and balance as there was not much to compare it too (even with a level). The front flare had the fenders to compare to and one...

Hey, guys! I recently stripped my interior and Herc'd. One of the many, but most important, bolts didnt want to come out. It's the bolt that holds the seatbelt mechanism to the inside of the Jeep tub. It's right below the door striker, has a triangle cut into the metal for a tab that fits...

RE: welding spider gears Not sure if you guys knew, but there's also six or more drain plugs in addition to your floorpan plugs. two of them are right above the rear shocks which will come in handy when you go around lubin' stuff! Frosted Flakes! -Mike

RE: XJ owner I've noticed that the dash in my Jeep redirects water. It's a YJ BTW. LOL I've gotten rain on the interior side of my windshield, but everything under the dash was fine. If anything, you just get a few drops on the displays of the dash, but it'd due to stray raindrops, not from...
