I have a jeep Cherokee I am working on and the u joints are bad. The can get everything apart down to the hub. But I am questioning what up with the bolts that hold the plate on out side of the outer knuckle. Are they some special bolts if so what s the type and size thanks
Well that would explained why I could not find any information on cj 44s. Well the jeep is my daily driver and used for trail riding and a little wheeling. So what is the general opinion here I am hearing both sides 35in tires and dana 30 good or bad?
So I have tracked down a set of Cj dana 44s for 170 bucks is it a good deal if I were to buy what would have to be done to put these axles under my 1980 cj7
Nice jeep I didn't realize they ever put a 4 cylinder in a cj7 I restored one last year it had a fiberglass body so there was a lot less work but wish I would have taken more pictures
So I got a1980 cj7 and I want a to put a locker in the front but from what I heard its not worth my time putting a locker in a dana 30 so here is where I need help what are my other options. different axle? build up the one I have?
My 1980 cj7 recently started to start hard I put it on the cold weather but it staled twice on my last trip and won't start now
It acts like its starving for fuel
New fuel pump a little over a year a go
And the fuel filter is clean
I'm at a lose on what to check next
Just got a new yj and the passenger door won't open from the inside got the handle off and found the linkage just sitting inside. The door not hooked up so hooked it up and put the door back together and back on the jeep opened two time and linkage fell off again any suggestion
Thanks
Elton
My awesome jeep decided to not start when I tried to leave work turned out a poor connection on the starter which turned to a big project because of a stripped bolt/nut making the connection
