I have a 1979 cj7 258 4.2 I6 quadratrac that runs beautiful.it is a project that needs work I just replaced ball joints, main seal, radiator, steering box and the list goes on. The reason I am selling it is that I am in school and just cannot afford fuel, as u know jeepz do not get good gas...

here are some pics of my upper ball joint that will not come out i tried a ball joint press and as you can see i beat the crap out of it with a sledge and still it wont budge any help appreciated. also i dont see a snap ring. Please help

i figured out it is the transmission kick down switch for the quadratracs as for the lift i just want a little more clearance in the back end
